The Gomoa Central District Assembly has commissioned some projects in the Gomoa Central District. These projects range from schools, health centers, and boreholes.
The Obuasi community had a 6-unit classroom block with washrooms for both teachers and students as well as a head teacher’s office.
A new 3-unit classroom block was also built at Afransi which will be used as a maiden modern boys’ module school.
Ekwamkrom and Pomadze both had health centers, which would help these communities tackle health issues.
10 boreholes were also commissioned in 10 different communities. They include Afransi, Obuasi, Achiase, and Benso, among others.
Speaking at these gatherings, the DCE, Hon. Hackman Aidoo, advised the communities to take proper care of these facilities so they can last for a long time.
The DCE also thanked the president and his administration for remembering the Gomoa Central District when it comes to projects.
