ABOUT US

The Gomoa Central District Assembly which was carved out from the then Gomoa East District was established by the Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2993 on 21st December, 2017 and inaugurated on 15th March, 2018 with the capital at Gomoa Afransi. The Assembly has Deliberative, Legislative and Executive powers and it operates within the following vision, mission and core values.

MISSION

To facilitate the improvement of the quality of life of the people through the provision of equitable services, effective mobilization and utilization of resources and the promotion of professionalism all within the context of good governance and popular participation.

VISION

To become a first class and citizen focused local government authority.
