The Hon. DCE on Wednesday, 29th October, 2025, visited the Obuasi District Police Command to inspect work that he had tasked the Works Department to do.
Upon assuming office, the District Police Commander requested the assistance of the Assembly through the Hon. DCE to help fix the destruction caused by the youth of the area on District Police Command. The youth of the area vandalized some items of the District Police Command, including their vehicle.
The Hon. DCE tasked the Works Engineer to work on the parts of the building and items that were damaged. The Hon. DCE expressed satisfaction at the work that had been done and urged the Police Commander to try to engage community members when disagreements arise to prevent that incident from recurring.
The Hon. DCE was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director, Madam Ruby Sitsope Besagah, the District Works Engineer; the District Planning Officer, the District Budget Analyst, the District Procurement Officer, the District Internal Auditor, the Assistant Director and the District Quantity Surveyor.
