On Wednesday, 29th October, 2025, the Hon. DCE for Gomoa Central District, Hon. Hackman Kobina Aidoo embarked on site meetings for the newly awarded projects. The exercise was aimed at getting firsthand information on the progress of work at the various project sites and finding out the challenges facing the contractors at all the project sites.
The Hon. DCE and his team visited the following project sites:
1. Expansion and Furnishing of 1 No. CHPS Compound to Health Center at Gomoa Asebu CHPS Compound
2. Expansion and Furnishing of 1 No. CHPS Compound to Health Center at Gomoa Ekwamkrom CHPS Compound
3. Construction of 1 No. 3-Unit Classroom Block with 3-Seater WC Toilet at Gomoa Afransi
4. Construction of 1 No. 6-Unit Classroom Block with 3-Seater WC Toilet at Gomoa Obuasi
5. Maintenance of Educational Infrastructure at Gomoa Ofaso and Gomoa Ekroful
6. Construction of 1 No. 6-Unit Classroom Block with ancillary facilities at Gomoa Lome
The Hon. DCE was pleased with the level of work that had been done so far at the various project sites and urged contractors to continue to work very hard to complete the projects within the stipulated timeframe in their project contracts.
The Hon. DCE was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director, Madam Ruby Sitsope Besagah, the District Works Engineer; the District Planning Officer, the District Budget Analyst, the District Procurement Officer, the District Internal Auditor, the Assistant Director and the District Quantity Surveyor.
