The Hon. DCE for Gomoa Central District Assembly, Hon. Hackman Kobina Aidoo on Wednesday, 29th October, 2025, embarked on a visit to SDA Senior High School (SEDASS) at Gomoa Jukwa to inspect work done on the classroom block by the Assembly.
The Assembly responded to a request by the school authorities to assist in fixing some classrooms at the school to promote effective teaching and learning. The Hon. DCE thought it wise to visit the school to inspect work that had been done by the Works Department of the Assembly on some six classrooms.
The Hon. DCE was thrilled to see the improvement made to the classrooms. He assured the authorities of the Assembly’s support at all times.
He advised students, especially the final-year students at the school, to take their studies seriously and to make the district proud in their WASSCE examination next year.
The Hon. DCE promised to fix some additional classrooms at the ground floor of the classroom block and also provide an additional borehole to the already existing one to improve access to potable water.
The Hon. DCE was accompanied by the District Coordinating Director, Madam Ruby Sitsope Besagah, the District Works Engineer; the District Planning Officer; the District Budget Analyst; the District Procurement Officer; the District Internal Auditor; the Assistant Director; and the District Quantity Surveyor.
