Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng, the Regional School Feeding Coordinator, Janet Quansah, and party executives, we inspected abandoned, spoiled and malfunctioning boreholes across the district in response to the ongoing water crisis following the shutdown of the Kwayanko Water Works. We visited communities such as Gomoa Afransi, Achiase, Obuasi, Ekwamkrom and Oguakrom.This inspection will guide immediate repair and rehabilitation works so that residents can have access to safe drinking water. I remain committed, together with the Regional Minister, the MP and constituency leadership, to take urgent steps to ease the hardship on our people while we work towards lasting solutions to the district’s water challenges.
